The xRotor Spider Quad is laser cut from hand selected 1/8th plywood -- strong and light.
The xRotor Spider Quad is a precision designed Quad frame is laser cut from hand selected 1/8th plywood. Strong and light.
The xRotor Spider Quad is designed for 10mm square booms (Slow Stick size). The idea behind the Spider Quad is to bring the camera more forward on the frame and widening the front arms to a 120 degree angle (same as the front arms as a Tricopter). The tail arms are then swept back. The flight control deck is centered to all motors when the front arms are 8 inches long. The unique shape also helps for visual orientation of the Quad in line of sight flight.
Standard motor mount holes are pre-drilled as are holes for mounting screws. The flight deck is pre drilled for the standard KK, MultiWii, Mini MultiWii, and the OpenPilot CopterControl board.
